When Robert Jones first opened the site in 1994 he couldn’t have imagined that it would ever attract so many members and so much interest as it has generated. Sadly Robert passed away unexpectedly in 1918. he made us promise we would continue the running of the site in his name and uphold its good name this we promised to do. Colin and I don't have the expert knowledge in running the site but we will prod along as best we can to uphold its name. I would imagine some communities in Northern Ireland would be concerned with sinn fein getting the votes they did.As for a united ireland its a long way off.Eire in the 90shad the "celtic Tiger "ecomomy .A lot of foreign money was pumped into Eire, they then fell into a deep recession.Southern ireland is still paying for the recession.Would southern ireland want to take on the monetary burden of some of the deprived areas in Northern Ireland ,if the two countries became united. All i know is you look at all the politicians regardless of parties they all tell you what you want to here they then renage on there promises.
