: morning,i see your point about the eu being run as a business,it must be one of the most subserdised business ever.Donald tusk is ex president of Poland, junkers is ex president of Luxemburg. My way of looking at it is they are ex politicians from there countries, but they carry on with a political agenda which is the European movement agenda.Tusk is polish so he does not want to leave eu as Poland is heavily subsidised by eu.Junkers is from Luxemburg where taxes are very low,and a lot of grey area money goes to .Years ago I was doing a tour of the battle of the bulge area and stayed in clervaux in Luxemburg.I got talking to a Dutchman who lived in clervaux,i asked why do you live hear and not in Holland and he said because the taxes were beneficial to him.
I canít understand and never will why our elected politicians are having to deal with non elected beurocrats.
As for the backstop. If Ireland put their irish hat on and not their Euro hat this could be resolved
