Because it involves who it involves it seems to me that this is being blown out of proportion. Apparently at that particular point they do have a problem with a 'low' sun at times in the day. HRH was pulling out on to the main road at the T junction., and his car was hit. It must have been some force as his car was sumersalted by the impact. He shouldn't have pulled out at that moment but he had the sun in his eyes. They said on TV this AM that the other driver was mentioning that he had not contacted her and sorry. What's the first rule any insurance company tells you, something about not saying sorry. If HRH is in the wrong he will face the same as any other driver, and rightly so, but this idea that because of his accident, all older drivers of his age or thereabouts should be retested is silly.
