we joined the EEC 1 january1973.The 3 day week was after we joined theEEC,december 1973 onwards. If the politicians kept the EEC as it should of been,we might have had a different outcome. What I mean is we should have control totally of our borders, law, etc. The politicians sneaked laws etc in through the backdoor.European court of human rights give more rights to the crooks than the victims. We alsohad the winter of discontent since we have been in the eu.Not all business people want to stay in eu ,lord digby jones ex cbi director, mervyn king ex bank of England governor etc.what was also said was the pro brexit mps know nothing about the real world that is probably true, but to be fair nor do the remain mps.I think all the people on both sides have there children grandchildren in mind,in whats best for them.Everyone who had the right to vote should of voted if they could not be bothered to vote they cant complain afterwood. It was a pity de gaulle wasent around longer because he stopped uk joining eec for years.Edward Hamstead heath earnt 30,000 pound for getting us in the EEC.
