Yes Brian, but it's no offence for someone to give those details if asked. If a person says to me "Have you got 'so&so's' e-mail address I want to mail him, or same with phone No., it's no offence if I pass them on . From what I understand if records are kept on file such as tax office, council office or Doctors surgery, even DVLA, those detail are covered by the Data Protection Acts, and records kept on computer by such administrations are kept under a different Data Act. Veterans are getting these letters because the act has been lifted by the court. It's not necessarily those answering the letter that are giving address's out. Someone somewhere has had the protection of this act lifted on the instruction of tyhe Court.
