I quite agree Tony, but there is the question of Common Law. It is every citizens duty to assist the Court. Here the court is the Coroners court, and to fail to comply with it's wishes could be Contempt of Court. You said none of us have any thing to fear and you are right, but people are being told not to bother with the forms sent. Some have been told to not sign for this letter and let the post office send it back. It's OK giving advise to people but he advise being given must be right. Your talking about 'the official line to take', The official line is to comply with the questionnaire. Speaking to people on the phone is alright too, but in the4 end the Court must be answered. If people have nothing to fear (which they haven't) then there should be no problem.
I shall keep saying this until it gets across no matter what everyone may think.
