In the grounds of Herstmonceux Castle East Sussex not far from Eastbourne and Bexhill there is a Royal Sussex Memorial Garden which was official, opened last month by Brigade Constantine CBE who was deputizing for the Chairman of the Association Colonel Rod Arnold.
Our Dave Tilley is requesting ideas for a possible site for a Bronze Stature of a Royal Sussex Soldier. A full size-bronze would cost several thousands of pound possible in the 100ís. The Memorial Garden at Herstmonceux Castle, an ideal spot for such a stature, Just a thought Dave.
