: That's a very good report, Brian. Pleased to see an organization operating outside the norm achieving what they have done. But, as we all know there are many out there in need and I wish the QRMW well in there aims. But, for them to maintain what they hope too, is not something to be taken lightly. Unless they are able to raise sufficient funds from donations they are likely to fall short of there want. I have and will continue to give to charitable causes especially to military ones. But, and I mean But, I need to know that my donation is accountable in accordance with registered charity rules as unless they are I would not make a donation. Something to bear in mind. However, they should be proud of what they have done and we must be pleased to know just what they have achieved to help a soldier in need.
Dear MR Talman. Thank you for your kind comments. You are absolutely correct because we rely on donations we need to keep the support going to be able to do what we do - help immediately which others for reasons we understand are not always able to do. We pray that our supporters continue to help us do that. We are a Registered Charity, which was not easy to obtain but we were awarded that status a year ago after meeting all of the criteria. Anyone is able to contact our Treasurer (an Ex-Queensman and volunteer as well as our Accountant who signs off our accounts for the Charities Commission, another volunteer) to scrutinise our accounts. The invitation we put to you a few months ago to come to the woodland, see what we do and talk to us is still something we look forward to doing. Thank you again for your encouraging remarks. Kindest regards Debbie HORNBLOW Secretary QRMW
