I've noticed this on a lot of occasions where soldiers are interviewed on TV for some reason or an other. Talking of head dress I remember in Gib when the Bn were on the square, I think it was a trooping rehearsal and it was quite windy. (You know how the wind blew around Europa Point on some days) Chin straps were down but it still didn't stop some forage capos flying across the tarmac. John Barrel (RSM) would shout out "Nail the **ckers On" Then on one day the wind caught his topper, and went to retrieve it and as he bent to pick it up, the whole Bn called out "Nail The **cker On". He stood up with a smile saying "You'll pay for that gentlemen" Good parade if I remember correctly.
