Just to avoid any confusion, The Regimental Association is visiting France on 30th/31st October to look at the Regiment's last two battles of the Great War: The 2nd Bn crossing the Sambre-Oise Canal and the 9th Battalion crossing the Rhonelle River - two very successful operation.
The second visit to France is being organised by the Hastings Branch on the 10th/11th November. This will include the Armistice Service at the Menin Gate on Sunday the 11th of November - Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday. It will be a most memorable visit and Service - the 100th Anniversary of the end of the war. Worth thinking about.
