In 2962 the Battalion carried out a KAPE Tour in Sussex. The idea was in recruiting. In fact if a soldier actually recruited a soldier you would be given a weeks leave. We performed all over Sussex mainly in the East caring out mock Pl and Sec attacks for the crowds. The OC I believe was Major Brady. Col Newton was the CO and the RSM Daddy Dunkley. There was me along with Brian Fox, Leo Boyd. Mick Lansdale, Corky, Brian Rogers, Cecil Kirk, Mick Tees has to have been there, and many more know longer with us. Thanks for the memory Colin.
