I believe Roy was an EverReady, don't think he was 3 Queens Surreys but might have been 4th Bn same as Col Rod.

Freddy is in contact now and again with some old comrades but I have not seen or heard of him since we were in the 3 tonner where he was injured far worse than me.

It would be great to meet up with John Hammond but nobody seems to know what regiment or Bn he was from, I have a feeling he was a Sussex Regiment soldier but my enquires have all drawn a blank.

Chances are he was one of the other regiments that provided EveryReady personnel he may have been a regular soldier but somebody would have remembered him.

Another face from 1965, do you remember Derek Cross he was a 3 tonner driver, may also have been ER, he seems to have disappeared into the ether along with a number of the other EverReadies.

Meeting up with Roger Enticknap and Bruno at the reunion, will raise a glass to you old buddy.
