Dear Member
As previously mentioned in earlier
emails, the RBL have renewed their procedure regarding tickets for the Cenotaph
Parade this year.
Time is passing by and I have only
received 39 applications for the event as at today.
Applications for tickets must be
submitted to the RBL by the 16th September 2016, with the summer months well in flow,
holidays etc., the 16th September will be upon us in the blink of an eye.
Attached is the RBL letter detailing
the new procedure and a spread sheet with just surnames of those who have
May I request that you forward this
email to your association members informing them if their request is not
submitted by the 15th September at 1400 hrs., they will not receive tickets for
this event.
I have provisionally requested 120
tickets for this year, as we had over this number on parade last year. If
we do not have names to take up this amount of places, numbers for next year
will be reduced. It was hoped that we would be able to increase
numbers attending annually, but we must have requests for tickets in good time.
The information required is as
Title, First Name, Family Name, Date
of birth, Place of Birth, First Line of address, Town, Postcode, Military
number (where applicable) and Criteria:
Category 1 – Ex-Service Personnel
holding a campaign medal
