: Is there a real need? I asked a few people from Ethiopia. An Ethiopian keyboard will make both Amharic and Tigric languages possible, but Ethiopian literacy and computer accessibility are low. Ethiopian people that I have met can read and write Hebrew and English, but not Amharic or Tigric. These languages are widely spoken but rarely written.
