ISO Std Partridge Wyandottes PB

Posted by on July 12, 2008 at 05:29:53:

Hello,

I am putting out some feelings for those who breed Standard Partridge Wyandottes PB who may have some quality breeding stock they'd be willing to sell in the upcoming season.

I bought a hen and pullet from Alf Woods and a cockrel from George Norman last Sept. I also have a small group of youngstock bred from these this past season growing out as well. I am currently putting up 10x breeding sheds in anticipation of breeding up my numbers and would like to enlarge my breeding population and balance out the chooks I've got as well.

I realize this colour in the standard size is harder to find and as such good breeding stock is scarcer and by now most folks have sorted out their spare birds. However my primary concern is in finding nice breeding stock, I don't mind waiting if you have none available now but anticipate you may have some available after the coming season and would also be willing to consider arranging a trip into NSW, SA etc. as well to get them if you're not in Victoria.

I am a member of Wyandotte Club of Aust, VPFA and my local poultry club as well and frequent BYP forums as "Cabrissi" for those who may know me through this.

I would like to secure at least 1-2 more hens if possible and possibly another rooster. Pictures of my youngsters are available in the blog link below or am happy to e-mail privately if desired. Please feel free to contact me if you either have or will have some birds or have any comments.

Kind regards,
Amanda Orbitani
