KEEP THE LIGHTS ON: FILM BY IRA SACHS SEEKS NON-UNION BACKGROUND ACTORS for WOODSTOCK SHOOT, AUG.8 & AUG. 12
KEEP THE LIGHTS ON, a new feature film by Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner Ira Sachs, seeks background actors during its shoot this summer in Woodstock, NY.
We are looking for background actors for a local diner scene the morning of Mon., Aug. 8, as well as for a scene outside of a train station on Fri., August 12.
Sachs' previous work (FORTY SHADES OF BLUE, MARRIED LIFE) has screened at the Sundance, New York, and Toronto film festivals. His previous film, LAST ADDRESS, honored a group of artists who died of AIDS. Although this is unpaid, this is an excellent opportunity to work with folks with established production credits. Food will be provided. Background actors are essential to creating a world and texture for this film. We hope that both the film, and its production, provides an opportunity for LGBT communities to come together.
If you are interested in participating, please email a photo of yourself (snapshots are fine!), and contact info to Jason Klorfein (firstname.lastname@example.org)
