Casting, Call:
Critically acclaimed Director Kelly Reichardt's Film Production Class (at Bard College) is looking for actors and actresses to be involved in their upcoming project for the Spring semester.
12 reinterpretations of the influential 1970's documentary TV show, "The American Family" will be generated by the students of the class this spring. Each episode requires one student's comprehensive writing, casting, set dressing, filming and editing of a 20 minute narrative piece derived from a transcript of the original story, as well as guided by the past social and cultural conditions of 1970's America.
Actors and actresses ages 15-50 are needed for the above project. Any level of talent and experience are welcome for auditions. The variety of scenes and characters as well as styles of direction among each student project vary greatly, so anyone interested in acting is encouraged to audition and are likely to be able to participate in the project. Pay may be negotiated with directors if desired.
Auditions will be held Saturday Feb 14 and Sunday Feb 15 at Bard College's Film and Electronic Arts Department (Avery/Ottoway) from 12pm-4pm. Refreshments will be served.
