Hello, New York Talent Club!
I'm a professional actor and acting coach living in Poughkeepsie and working in the Hudson Valley and New York City. I teach classes for the actor in stage and film, do audition coaching, and work with actors on text analysis, movement, voice production and vocal technique and voiceover acting. I work in all three professional unions, SAG, AFTRA and AEA. I'm represented by Stewart Talent in NYC.
Most recently I appeared in the feature film DARE, written by David Brind, directed by Adam Salky and starring Ana Gasteyer, Ashley Springer, Alan Cumming and Emmy Rossum. I played Ana Gasteyer's husband and Ashley Springer's father.
I toured for five years with Broadway's THE LION KING playing Ed the hyena, Timon and Zazu. I also recently finished performing in the critically acclaimed EMANCIPATION at the Classical Theatre of Harlem Off-Broadway at the Betty Shabazz/Malcolm X Center.
As a professional voice talent I've been heard in various commercials on radio and television, most recently for Sonic restaurants.
I have an MFA in acting from the University of Delaware's PTTP (Professional Theatre Training Program). I also have a BA from Susquehanna University. I've coached and taught acting at both universities. I've also coached Olympic level ice dancers in acting for the University of Delaware's Olympic Ice Dancing Program.
I've coached all levels of actors from children to adults and all education and talent levels from beginners to professionals.
