The Film Department is holding Auditions for the Senior Student Films to be shot in Spring 2008
There will be 3 or 4 different short (20 minute) narrative films shot on 16mm in color and with sound.
WHEN? Wednesday, December 12th from 5-9 or 10pm (we are reserving 9-10pm for an "as needed" basis)
WHERE? At Vassar College in Poughkeepsie. Vogelstein Center for Drama and Film, Sound Stage, Room 209 (located on the second floor)
WHO? We need all ages and types of actors and actresses from children to seniors. We will work with SAG Actors through a letter of agreement. There is no compensation for this work. You will be given a copy of the finished film if cast.
HOW? To make an appointment please call the Film Department at 845-437-5473 either Friday Dec. 7th, Mon. Dec. 10th, Tues. Dec 11th, Wed. Dec. 12th between 10am and 4pm only. It is best NOT to leave a message by phone. Talk with a person. If you email, please be sure to specify three times that would work for you, and include a contact phone number in your email. film@vassar.edu.
The appointments are 5 minute slots starting at 5pm and running until 9 or 10pm. You will be asked to do a cold reading from one of the scripts. This is an ON CAMERA audition. Please bring pictures and resumes (if you don't have one, please list your acting/performing experience neatly on a single sheet of paper, take a snapshot and print it out).
