- The market is on private property and therefore does in fact pay property tax.
- This market was conceived precisely to bring shoppers into town who might not otherwise be here on an otherwise slow day. It is supported by many business who believe it will help their business.
In short, the farmers market does pay taxes and is supported by most local merchants!!!!
