How nice for the out-of-towners who can come and not pay property taxes, liability insurance, incur state or federal income taxes and exploit the Town of Woodstock and further destroy the other businesses struggling to survive in this town.
It reminds me of the Rock City Road Crafts stalls, no one pays taxes, no one has the overhead of the other businesses in town, they don't contribute to property taxes, sales taxes or local taxes, and yet the town wonders why there is a revolving door on businesses staying in the Town of Woodstock.
No other town would tolerate this stuff and shame on the Chamber of Commerce who are supposedly representing the merchants in town who have to pay taxes, work and live by the laws, incur liability insurance and other overhead.
What is it called "A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD"? What is it that the Chamber can't seem to grasp? Oh I know, its dysfunctional, Yawn. What a tired excuse for protecting legitimate businesses in the town of Woodstock. It is outrageous that the Chamber chooses to sabotage legitimate businesses in Woodstock. The whole Chamber Board should resign in disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!!
