Please attend the Woodstock Town Board Meeting tonight, March 11th at 8p.m. (Comeau)
to show your support for this wonderful event for our community.
The Woodstock Farm Festival is a farmers’ market plus so much more!
This event will feature a farmers’ market, an outdoor dining area where local chefs
will prepare ready-to-eat meals featuring local produce, a music stage, and a section
for local merchants to set up shop. To be held every Wednesday 4-8 pm starting May 28th.
Please come and lend your support tonight.

AGENDA ITEMS

NEW BOARD MEMBER ELECTIONS
Voting to elect new members to the board, and discuss the requirements and obligations
to fulfill this position.
>>>>>>>>>Five new board members were elected at today’s meeting: Vita Roth, Joyce Beymer,
Naomi Schmidt, Magdalena Gouveia, & Bill Schecter. In addition Joanne Osenenko was
elected to serve as vice-president of the Chamber and Magdalena Gouveia is the newly
elected secretary.

HONOR THE VOLUNTEERS/WCOCA
Make the Volunteer’s Picnic part of the WCOCA. Sam Magarelli to submit
a proposal to the WCOCA. They would continue to do most of the work with
the WCOCA primarily lending its name.
>>>>>>>>>Barry & Sam are still working on a formal proposal to present to the board
and membership.

MEMBERSHIP DRIVE SOCIAL
Will probably be scheduled at the Colony, to honor local musicians. Also fits with other
ideas such as forming a music coordination committee.
>>>>>>>>>A musician’s membership committee was formed to help facilitate the upcoming
drive and ongoing events. Flyers advertising the drive and benefits of membership will
be circulated in town to help spread the word. The chamber might also partner with WKZE
to help sponsor concerts on the green this summer. Musicians that join the chamber will
also be able to have a link to be able to sample their music on their chamber web page. The
plan is to have a musician’s page similar to the artist’s page.

SPRING YOUTH SOCCER
Volunteers are needed to keep the hot dog cart operating. (3) people are needed.
One for the hot dogs, one for the table, and one to collect the money.
>>>>>>>>>Kevin Christofora is again generously donating the food and cart and needs
volunteers to man it. Right now the need is for 3-4 weeks starting Sunday April 20th,
10 or 11 am. Please contact Kevin at if you would like to volunteer.

MEETING VENUES
April general meeting and social in the evening at WAAM, April 10th, 6:00 p.m.
Mark your calendars.
