Dear Friends of Ron and the Shop:
It is with disbelief and the deepest sadness that I inform you that my brother, Ron, lost his life in a single-car accident this evening on Route 28, just outside Woodstock.
Those of you who knew Ron, knew of his warmth, good humor and unyielding willingness to help his family, friends and loyal patrons. He should be remembered for his love of music and musicianship, and his deep appreciation for the unique souls that make this town an American classic. He poured his heart into this shop. And he graced all our lives for the few years he lived and worked here.
There is emptiness now I’ve never felt before. I could not have had a better brother.
