TIME EXCHANGE
The Woodstock Time Exchange is a complementary currency recently started up
in our area. The "WTE" is part of a growing movement around the world to
build community and local economies through the use of a currency that is
based on cooperation: in this case one person gives an hour of time to
another community member and is then able to receive a service from a third
person and so on. Kristine Flones will present information about the WTE
and give some background on the historical use and what local merchants can
expect from the use of a second currency. Information about the global
movement can be seen on the national website: www.timebanks.org

OUTDOOR ART
Only about ten artists signed up so far. Doing this year may just be promo
for next year and it's still a good way to promote Studio Tour later in the
year.

BRAIN STORMING PUBLICITY CAMPAIGN
The WCOCA is conducting a brainstorming/creative session at Babs Moley
house on Thursday evening at 6pm. The Goal of our Social/Work Meeting: to
create a dozen to 18 great story ideas (year to year and a half of monthly
press release subjects). Bring any creative friends or partners. Pot Luck
Dinner 6-7pm, Brainstorming 7-9pm. Wi-fi is available.
