A reminder that the 2006 Turner Rally is fast approaching ! This years date Sunday July 23rd
Could I ask those planning to attend with cars to drop me a quick reply to assist me in gauging numbers of cars planning to attend and prepare a list of cars to present to members on the day.
We will be gathering at the now traditional venue of the Manor Hotel in Jack Turners hometown of Crickhowell, South Wales on Sunday July 23rd. For those who may not have attended a Rally in previous years, the hotel is located high up on the side of the black mountains looking down on the Usk Valley in the Brecon Beacons and makes for a very pleasant setting for us to gather. The cars will be assembled in the lower car park at the front of the hotel and I hope as last year we will be treated to a fine gathering of Turners on the day. With 18 cars in 2005 we certainly had the strongest turn out of cars in many years, and I do hope this year will attract similarly good numbers on the day
Please do wherever possible bring along your Turner on the day and show your support for the marque , Condition really is not important , as It is fair to say partially built projects attract just as much interest than the roadworthy cars , and there is ample space for trailer parking! And if your car is not available, come along for the day and enjoy the event and the company of fellow enthusiasts.
