: It is my understanding that the 15" wheels for the early Turners were made by Rubery Owen for Jack Turner, and were also adopted by Colin Chapman for some of the series 1 Lotus 7s.
: They were not supplied to any major English car maker as far as I know.
: Suggest either converting to wires, or finding a wheel manufacturer who can adapt something from more recent vehicles.

We knew they were Rubery Owen wheels, but we hadn't heard that they were specially done. Because we haven't any car manufacturer that used them, we thought possibly military. I know there are numerous wheels that will bolt on, Vega GT being the most common, but to keep the car 'correct' for some vintage orgs we need to keep the standard 15x4 sizing, which makes it far more difficult. As I'm sure you know - having a wheel 'custom' made isn't cheap... guess we'll keep looking and hope it doesn't come to that.
Thanks!
