: : I took the dogs to the park today that has been under water, and some of the sidewalks are able to be navigated to the higher points in the park. All this was about 5 feet under water at the highest. The debris is incredible, but some of the grass is trying to grow back. Most of the areas covered by the river are brown, trees and grass all dying. I did get to see the Angel statue in the middle of the park from a distance. That area is still flooded, but the angel is still there, covered with mud but still there. You could see it better with the mud on it actually.
: : Hope is coming around as we get on with our lives. The other hospital is now open, so our volume of work is going down. Things are looking up!
