I used to live in Tacoma, too, when I was married to my first husband and my kids were little. I only got to see fireworks from Commencement Bay one year...the rest were watching the neighborhood shenanigans from my front porch. (We lived in Hilltop -- drug dealers are really stupid when it comes to explosives.) I'm not saying anything more.
