I was coming to this board to find out how to get my dog to eat dog food. She refuses even when her stomach is growling. My Dad has Alzheimer's and he keeps giving her pieces of his food no matter what I say. I put her outside most of the time while he is eating, but cannot always. She used to eat dry food and still does when she is around other dogs who eat it, but now she is an "only dog" and I am thinking of starting to make homemade dog food. Anyone here ever tried that?
