cataracts removed, but in dogs the recurrence is quite high. He actually recommended against such a procedure due to high cost and recurrence, which is surprising because my vet always recommends everything (much more than I'm willing to do or feel there is a true need for).
I'd think any kind of new/unusual discharge from the eyes should be looked at, especially if goes on for more than a couple of days. Let us know what vet has to say after you take her in.
