My lab died from cancer at age 12 so I know how difficult those decisions can be as to how much you will spend on testing, etc. Not to say your dog might have cancer, just that as a mom-dog, it is hard to see your little ones having problems. I think it would be reasonable to do some labs just so you have an idea what you are dealing with.

I would think it possible to have incontinence with a UTI. Do you have any of those wee-wee pads you can place around the house? Even if she isn't aware, if you can hurry up and place one under her if you see her peeing. Can you gate off part of the house so she only has access to one or two rooms? Maybe try to take her outside more often to encourage an empty bladder.

It sounds promising that she was doing a little better today. Hopefully this is just a passing thing. Let us know how things go!
