I have a new puppy that is 8 weeks old. It is half Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) and German Shepherd. I have noticed that both the Heelers and the Shepherd's ears stand up. My puppies ears tend to flop down and do not stand up. Is this a permanent thing, or will it's ears eventually stand up. My DH swears they will, but I just don't know.
