Honest opinions wanted re Word Autocorrect and InstanText

I've only been using Word Autocorrect for the past 13 years and want to give Instant Text a try. I've never used it, though, and wondering what production tools IT has that autocorrect doesn't have? It costs a lot, want to make sure I don't waste my money on something that I basically already have in Word. Thanks all!
