: I remember one time getting in the Christmas grab bag (3rd grade maybe?) a homemade Barbie outfit. I remember the surprise at seeing a doll outfit and said something stupid - which caused the donor to burst into tears.
: It took me the rest of the school year to convince that girl I was worth talking to - I didn't have many dolls and Barbies were gone by 3rd grade for me.
