Mary Flynn was the daughter of Patrick Flinn from
County Leitrim. In the census of 1861, Patrick
is living with his grand daughter who was married
to a McCallan. Actually two of Joseph and Mary's
daughters married McCallan brothers and moved
to California in the 1870's.

Patrick Flinn died June 6, 1867 at age 77. His
is one of the earliest stones in the old Assumption graveyard next to the church.
