Edward Stephen Brown

Hi! Folks,
I am searching for the birth of my Great Grandfather
Edward Stephen Brown born on Jan 24/1859 in Grand Falls, N.B.
It was so nice to see your site, as I have done a great deal of research for his birth and find nothing..the date I got is from family. I also heard he was orpaned young & raised by an Uncle but I have no family name of that Uncle.
He may have used just the name Edward or Edward S. Brown
& perhaps the Stephen could be spelled Steven..so I would appreciate any info on him if possible.
