I'm wondering if anybody would be able to help with one of my brickwalls - Bernard MCCLUSKEY(b.1837 Ireland d.May 29, 1871 Grand Falls, N.B. son of Wm McCluskey & Mary Donaghy) and Mathilda VASSEUR of Grand Falls, N.B. They were married August 27, 1865 in St Bruno, Madawaska. Bernard died shortly after the birth of his son James Valentine in 1871. I've been able to trace his wife and children up to the 1881 census where Matilda still shows as a widow but has 2 extra little boys with her using the same last name? Bernard & Matilda had the following children: Mathilda Anna b.March 11, 1869, James Valentine b.March 16, 1871, Henry b. abt 1866, John William b. abt 1867, Isaac b. abt 1868,
The extra two children were: Albert & Thomas - who are these boys related to?
I've looked many places but still cannot find this family anywhere after 1881.
Would anybody know what happened to them?
