: Hi Dan, I purchased a copy of the 1871 census from the New Brunswick Provincial Archives. I checked for Joseph and Agnes on this census and found them and their little family living in Grand Falls.

: I find Joseph on the 1861 Grand Falls census. At this time he's single, age 40, canadian RC, farmer
