I'm glad to hear your interested in getting into trials, I would stick with one of the four top brands, Sherco, Gas Gas, Beta or Montesa. You just need to ride a couple to find the fit best for you. : Just got back from the Nationals where we attended Sunday. Hats off to you folks - I heard nothing but very positive comments from the riders and spectators. Everyone was very friendly, which was great because never having attended an event, we had lots of questions. Which leads me to my next question: if someone wanted to "try this trials thing out" what bike recommendations would you have for a middle aged, experienced dirt bike rider? Sherco, Gas Gas, Scorpa, Beta? I know the new bikes make things a lot easier, but my natural inclination would be to go vintage twin shock since there are no new model trials dealers within 200 miles of Omaha anyway. In that case, YZ, TL, KT, Coda, Sherpa or?
