I went to Amazon tonight and ordered Blood Sugar 101 as well as a couple other books about Diabetes. (I've noticed that I always type it with a capital "D" now, never did before. I'm sure that means something.) I am really having to fight deep depression over this diagnosis. The doctor may as well have told me I have cancer. I feel like someone gave me a death sentence. But I got online reading about Blood Sugar 101, and it gives me some hope. It says I _can_ reverse some of the damage by following a low-carb diet and exercising. (Labs showed I have early kidney disease.) I'm going to give it my best shot. This _has_ to work.
