How long after you changed a habit did you start noticing results?
A little background... I have always been fairly thin. For most of my adult life I've weighed between 110 and 120 pounds and I'm 5'4". I never watched what I ate and hardly exercised.
A couple of years ago, I turned 40 and quit smoking all at the same time and in those last 2 years, I've gained 25 pounds.
So, just in the last few weeks I've started eating better (less junk and more fresh fruits and veggies and gave up diet soda and am drinking water) and exercising at least 1 hour a day and sometimes more.
I wouldn't mind keeping the 145 pounds on my body, if it were distributed differently.. LOL.. =) I don't expect miracles either, but I'm hoping that pretty soon I'll start to see my healthier habits paying off. I don't think I'll ever see that 115 on the scale again, but I would like to at least be more toned.
