Actually, what you are eating is what makes it hard, because it leaves you hungry.

don't deprive myself of everything that is tasty. If I want ice cream, I eat a skinny cow fudge bar. I buy sugar free pudding cups (banana with fudge on top is my fav), free them, and then defrost them a little in the microwave and they're like ice cream (60 calories). I buy the Atkins bars which are like a candy bar but have 9 gm of protein and a lot of fiber in them, so you don't feel hungry soon after eating it. I incorporate all that into my calorie count, but it keeps me satisfied with the sweet tooth. For dinner I eat meat and a big salad, almost every night. If I do cook veggies then I'm tempted to add a carb rich side dish like noodles or something else, which I don't want. I have a potato once or twice a week, but just baked or cooked with a meat in the crock pot. No mashed, twice baked, or fried potatoes. And don't forget to have some fruit. It's filling and healthy.
