You never think it will happen to you - until it happens to you!! It is difficult to navigate your children through these kinds of trying times. We've had similar issues in our family. It ultimately comes down to a "day at a time". I hope you are well.
: Hi folks - was thinking today that we must be getting older. I had just finished making copies of the obit for one of my daughter's high school classmates. She was only 20. It is hard enough when we lose one of our own. Its really weird to lose your kids friends. How are you folks adjusting to this stuff? I mean, we are where our parents were "back in the day". Heck, we are even old enough to be grandparents (eww). Feel free to share your insights and experiences about growing up and older. I'm curious to see how my peers handle all this stuff we never really worried about back in the 80s.
