Hello to all families with love and well wishes. 'Tis great to see familiar names on the board. Reggie McNamara was my great uncle and I feel it is about time a moivie was made about the great Reggie McNamara. What a great story. World champion, international spy charges, and my favourite, travelled to Australia from America to visit his mum, and due to an Alcoholic blackout, wrote to his mum upon return to U.S. apologising for not seeing her. Oops. Too drunk to remember.
(Any other Mc's identify with that.
NB: Reggie was one of the early members of the fledgeling group of the time, Alcoholics Anonymous, a familiar name in my family of McNamara's. How about yours. N.A.?
Alcoholism and drug dependency is an area on interest to me, particularly relating to my family name, and the theory that it was not our past, but the past of our forebears that comes to haunt us in this modern age. Lightly topical and an invitation to disclose.

Anyways, Dad and Mum are really well, and Dad fills me in on his relationship with Reggie. I'm attempting to promote interest in a movie about the Great Reggie (Iron Man) McNamara.
