: Hello Healys! My G-Grandmother's maiden name was Mary E. Healy. Mary died before I was born and I know almost nothing about her. I know her father's name was Dan Healy. Dan was born in Ireland as were several of his children. Mary had 7 brothers that I know of. John, Pat, Dan, Will, Jim and Mike - plus I few I can't name. Mary was born in 1861. She was married in Wyoming to Patrick O'Beirne. Pat worked for the railroads and therefore they moved frequently. They spent time in New Mexico and finally in Toluca, Illinois. From there they moved to Chicago. They had 4 children. Margaret, Mayme, Charles and John. Charles was my Grandfather. I found an old address book with the family pictures that contained a couple of Healy addresses. The last time an entry was made was 1964. These are the Healys I found: Charlotte Healy (Mrs. Perry Kumbler) - Everett, WA. Helen Healy (Mrs. Joe Nicklaus) - Redmond, WA. Charles Healy, Sheffield Avenue, Los Angeles, CA. John and Cecil Healy, 8th Street, Los Angeles, CA. also Canogo Pk. CA. Cressie Healy (Weldon Bissinger) Los Angeles also Chatsworth, CA. If any of these names strike a chord, please email me at po610@wowway.com
2/4/06 - I have learned some new information during the past year regarding our Healeys. To begin, Daniel Healey was born in Ireland in 1828. His wife, Ann, was also born in Ireland in 1838. Their children were all born in the US. Mary b. 1861 in Illinois, Dan (Jr.?) b. March 1867 in Illinois, John b. 1868 in Illinois, Pat b. 1870 in Illinois, Mike b. 1871 in Nabraska, James H. b. 1872 in Wyoming, Willie b. 1875 in Wyoming, Charlie b. 1876 in Wyoming - Charlie died very young in 1891 by drowning, Annie b. January 1877 and died as a child in August of 1880, and Robert b. 1879 in Rawlins, Wyoming. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
