he moved out. I was incredibly sad but our breaking up was the correct thing to do. He was gone for three weeks. I only heard from him once, and I was deeply hurt by that. I realized how foolish I'd been and set about trying to move on AGAIN.

Christmas Eve, he called and wanted to come over. I said OK. He came, we visited, he went home. The day after Christmas, he texted me and told me "Put the coffee on" and I did. He came over, we talked, and we have decided to give it another go.

I told him how gunshy I am and he agreed to a temporary arrangement for the next couple of weeks to see how it goes, then move the rest of his stuff back here. Then make it permanent, and I keep quoting that because I'm not sure what it means and surely to HEAVEN I would never get married again!

But if I did, it could be to him.

: : Ted and I moved into our new house yesterday. We are as committed as two unmarried people can be. We will never cheat on each other and we will never knowingly hurt each other.

: : It feels good, ladies, GOOD. I wish the same for you all, whatever shape your "moving on" takes.

: : I am truly happy.
