We escaped the rat race of the big city and moved to Beloit, KS in 2004 where I am now the HR Manager for Carrico Implement. I am currently a special education teacher at Raytown South High School (Suburb of Kansas City) and have continued my education and have started a Doctoral Program at Kansas University. I am married to my terrific wife Patricia with 2 step sons and 3 grandchildren. I have fond memories of Kingman High School and remember the boys basketball state champions of 1980 who was coached by the late Don Jones. As I scrolled through the guest registry, I ran across many names that I remember and even some names that I recall were in my office a time or two. I just wanted to say that I read the Kingman paper today dated May 18, 2007. This issue had the pictures and names of the graduating Seniors. What an interesting time I had looking at the students that were the sons and daughters of the ones that I taught and coached. It was great to see the names of your children. I was there 32 years ago and had a great experience for that year. I came back to Wichita and coached and taught at Wichita Heights & Northwest. I am now a clinical therapist for USD 259 and Ive taught at Wichita State since 1989. I am still married to the same wife and we have one son that is now a physician (MD -Radioligist Resident.) living in Lacey Washington. He is currently a Captain in the US Army. My wife and I enjoyed Kingman and I have many friends still from there. |
