IMHO, Billion Dollar Brain is a worthy part of the Palmer series but does tend to stray into the fastastic (film) Bond world too much. I love the corn flakes scene and many elements of this movie but it could have benefitted from a better script, one which followed the first two movies in style.
Midnight In St. Petersburg is a mess but it is an interesting mess. For me, any Palmer is better than none but why would anyone spend the time and money and not make a better movie (movies when one includes Bullet To Beijing)? I wish they would have drawn more of the character's elements from the earlier movies and update them for this movie.
They should have hired Kees for an advisor and we would have two winning flicks.
