I'll try and add something about the film when I have the time. It is a very low-budget production, not that bad but not not that good either. Even Cononel Stok appears in the film, but he is playing not such a charming character as Oscar Homolka.
When you look around on filmfairs, it is sometimes for sale as a bootleg. I bought a legal videoversion in Denmark, it is for sale under the name Len Deighton's "Krigsspil". Just Danish subtitles, text is in English.
