Comments	Just to say that I visited Vaishno devi recently and I was satisfied by the services provided.. It's very good. But I would like to say just one thing about the fires in the mountain forests, although these are naturally caused by scorching heat but I saw some wastes of cold drink glasses being burnt at many places on the slopes...these may prove risky and there should also be proper measures to control the fires too early rather than after spreading to a great extent. Jai MATA di!!!

Comments	mata has always a motivation to their devotes but still the facilities at view points needs to be approved one at inderprastha adkwari i asked for slice as my 5 yrs old daughter was thirsty at 3.30pm on 19th apr 2008 the incharge refused saying its closed as he has to wash but i said the drink will be taken outside the cafe only its very said that inspite of sincere efforts at top management to improve the system these people donot cooperate. any how we are still to visit mata and my sincere regards to everybody to have made thier best efforts for making this place very attractive.

PAF is in its infancy now. It has started its activities with 10 children in the age- group 3-8 years (6 are children of sex-workers and 4 are street children) and 2 aged persons at a remote village called Purokonda in Bankura district of West Bengal. A dwelling unit has been constructed on the land donated by the local Gouria Math and a tube-well has been sunk along with arrangements for minimum toilet/sanitary facilities. Plans are afoot to construct another dwelling unit so that more inmates can be accommodated. PAF has also decided to undertake a program to provide formal education to children of nearby �dom� community( who were hitherto untouchables) by making them admitted to local school and bearing the expenses for their education. Other plans under active consideration include � After-school assistance program for poor and less meritorious students of the near-by villages� and �Running abridged course for drop-out children of the locality�. Till now, PAF is carrying on its activities entirely with donations from well-wishing individuals, and, as expectedly, this would have to continue for the near future as well. While we are making sincere efforts towards receiving some kind of institutional funding, we also appeal to all sympathetic individuals and/or organizations for financial help. We sincerely hope that you will be kind enough to extend a helping hand to our activities by sponsoring one or more of the following activities of PAF. Comments	I am very much impressed by the developments since my last visit in 1996.The path is much wider, well block paved, fenced, illuminated and clean. Enough places to rest, for drinking water and to eat. Overall in my opinion things are improving and will continue to improve in coming years provided the SHRINE BOARD stayed committed to the this cause. But, a big but, as MATA VAISHNO DEVI YATRA remains the biggest source of this region's economy .Its a shame for local government and the concerned authorities that roads leading to KATRA specially from DUMAIL are in a very deplorable condition Don�t they think its necessary to improve the roads too. I am sure it will take a small percentage of the money generated by the donations etc to invest more in those roads. After all you can't keep the heart running unless you clean the veins leading to it. And I hope all the people should force the concerned authorities to take note of this situation and give a priority to this. 2.The system of VIP passes should be abolished as they are not necessary keeping in view of the true spirit of the yatra as the person who can travel from far away places, also can afford to spend few more hours waiting like any other devotee. Far that BOARD needs to improve more facilities at the BHAWAN itself in ways of more accommodation if its not possible due to geologically reasons then check and control the inflow of devotes at ONE TIME at the BHAWAN.That can be easily done and monitored with some good planning. 3.The devotees with very small children, say up to 2/3 years, should be given priority for DARSHAN as it becomes very difficult for them to hold on at queues for that length of time making sure this is not abused in any way by devising a foolproof system. 4.The locker rooms should be increased and should be located at convenient and accessible places as with my own experience I had to wait three hours just to deposit my things at a filthy dirty wet dormitory before DARSHAN. 5.Food joints were very unclean; quality of the food was very poor too I do not think its too much to expect as an ordinary devotee from the SHRINE BOARD who claim to be committed to look after our welfare and why don�t they just do that LOOK AFTER US DEVOTEES first and foremost. In my last two visits i have noticed that workers of shrine board are not well behaved , they are least concerned in guiding and helping devotees and also in last two visits all the coconuts me or my friends bought were rotten looks like they are old and being circulated again and again . I request to anyone who is reading this to please look into the matter . for its a shame for all of us if this goes on .

While we found the arrangements being made by the board to be simply excellant. But Sir, will surely like to attract your attention towards the hardships of Aged/Handicapped pilgrims. Sir- 1.The overall expanditure of hiring, the leftover Chair type Palki, nearly @ Rs.2000/- is quite high and not affordable by common/ average Indian visitor. 2.The Palkis are stopped at great distances from the Holy Cave/ Bathrooms and only those having some accompalices are allowed to go farther inside after taking special permission from the Admnistrator sitting beyond the reach of the LONE HANDICAPPED/ AGED persons. 3.Kindly authorise your Security persons stopping the Palkis to assess the problems of ALL the visitors, then & there, and allow them to go farther nearest possible place for Darshans. Sir, I understand that you have your own limitations due to security & other factors, but, also hope that this problem of AGED/ HANDICAPPED persons will surely get your attention.
